Who we are

Upswing Photography is a husband-and-wife photography studio based on Florida's east coast, operating upswingphotography.com. You can reach us any time at hello@upswingprojects.com.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to photograph your session and run the studio:

• When you contact or book us — your name, email, phone number (if you give it), the dates and location you're considering, and anything you tell us about your session.
• When you join our email list — your email address.
• When you order prints or gift certificates — your name, email, and shipping address. We never see or store your card details; payments are handled entirely by Square.
• When you leave a testimonial — the name you give, your session details, and your message.
• Automatically — basic, anonymous analytics such as which pages are visited. This does not identify you personally.

How we use it

To answer your enquiry, plan and deliver your session, fulfil print orders, send the occasional studio email you asked for, and understand which parts of the site are useful. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make the studio work:

• Square — payment processing for prints and gift certificates
• Resend — delivering the emails our booking and contact forms send us
• Vercel — website hosting
• Pixieset — your private client gallery

Each holds your information only to provide that service.

Your photographs

This matters to us, so we want to be plain about it. Your gallery is private and shared only with you. We may show selected images from your session in our portfolio, on this site, or on social media unless you ask us not to — just tell us, before or after your session, and we will keep your images private. Sessions involving children are treated with extra care, and we will always ask before sharing them. If you change your mind later, email us and we will take them down.

Cookies and your browser

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your shopping cart is stored in your own browser so it survives between pages; clearing your browser data clears it. If the site is signed in to the studio dashboard, that session is stored the same way.

Affiliate links

Our What to Wear guides link to clothing on Amazon. If you buy through one of those links we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only link to things we would genuinely recommend to a client.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, unsubscribe from emails, or stop using your photographs publicly. Email hello@upswingprojects.com and we will take care of it.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. We photograph children regularly, of course — always with a parent or guardian arranging the session.

Changes

If we update this policy we will change the date at the top. Material changes will be mentioned in our newsletter.
